Project TK01020101 — Reduction of Hg, HCl and HF concentrations from large industrial sources
solved in the period 06/2018 to 12/2020
with the financial support of TA CR
The aim of the project is to gain knowledge about the distribution and possibilities of Hg capture in four areas. 1) Technology of desulfurization by wet method — problems of so-called re-missions of Hg. 2) Research on the dependence of the oxidation rate of Hg at lower temperatures of flue gases (150 — 170C), the so-called low-temperature oxidation of Hg on catalytic layers. 3) Research on reduction of concentration of Hg, HCl and HF using sorbent dosed into the boiler or flue pipe in front of the ash separator. 4) Research on the distribution and capture of Hg in combination of flue gas dusting technologies.
