The project documents, by producing a technical report, activities provided during the pre-registration and registration of chemical substances under Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH). This includes maintaining up-to-date information in the ECHA system and representing the client in individual SIEFs and consortia for chemical substances produced by power plants.
On 1 June 2007, Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACH) concerning chemical substances came into force, aiming to harmonise and simplify existing European legislation on chemical substances. The Regulation requires manufacturers to register their individual products (chemical substances) in accordance with Article 11 (when there are multiple manufacturers of the substance in Europe) and to keep the registration up to date. The project has been ongoing since 2009.
