Regeneration of transformer oils
This is a very specific and progressive way of keeping the quality and lifetime of insulation transformer oils. Oil regeneration is a complex oil treatment with the aim to restore all the characteristics and parameters of transformer oil to the quality level of a new oil.
ORGREZ services involve both the consulting and implementation of the services related to the maintenance of transformers and regeneration of transformer oils on a "key-ready" basis.
Providing the complex maintenance of transformers
- inspection of oil transformers without removing the active parts from the container
- inspection of oil transformers by removing the active parts from the container
- hermetization of transformers by mounting a rubber boot to the conservator
- cleaning and surface treatment of transformers
- complex measurement of insulation system in transformers including laboratory oil tests
- inspection of distribution transformers in transformer vaults
- inspection and repairs of regulation systems in power transformers
- filtration and regeneration of transformer oil simultaneously with cleaning active parts of transformers
- transformers scrapping of all capacities and voltages
Regeneration of transformer oils
Oil regeneration with ORGREZ equipment and technologies achieves the following effects:
- removing solid impurities, reducing water content, enhancing electric strength, degassing,
- cleaning active parts of transformers from residuals of depreciated oil,
- reducing tg ........................................ at 90° C < 0.5 %,
- reducing acid value .....................< 0.01 mg KOH/g,
- enhancing surface tension ...........> 50 mN/m,
- final oil inhibition............................0.30 ± 0.05 %.
Regeneration is done:
- directly in a transformer at the customer's site
- in revision towers or in halls after repairs or inspection,
- in the oil management of the customer (from-container-to-container method).
